Hi everyone,
Wish you're doing good!
I wanted to connect my fitbit to Apple health App without using a third party app,is that possible ? if yes, how ? looked every corner in the two apps and couldn't figured it out.
Weird enough, I could connect my fitbit to other apps without any issue (MyFitnessApp, Runkeeper, ..) but not the Health App.
Thanks in advance !

@iBNB Fitbit and Apple are competitors in this business. There is no way to do this without a third party app.

Listen. No one cares if they're competitors. Get over yourselves Fitbit or you'll never gain marketshare. There are swarms of people who don't want a massive Apple Watch yet want to track their health and integrate into the Apple ecosystem. Hurry up and get 'er done. Your engineers could solve this in a heart beat. Now just get your business leaders to initiate some action.

Speculating on the matter, I’d say it is bigger than just « we’re competitors! ». Otherwise, you won’t even build that app for iPhone user, following the same logic, or open/send an email to and from an apple address email! Maybe, it’s a software-use battle to force consumers to use Fitbit app and the premium.
Since @LZeeW replied back and because of my doubtfuland curious engineering mind, I dived into the legal aspect of those so-called apps to connect and guess what; neither the expertise nor the time were needed to find a look-like loopholes. I’m still waiting for pro-bono legal expertise though ^^
Just BEWARE that not only your personal information but your health data might be obscurely shared within those third parties app for bridging.
In one hand, I felt misled when receiving the product and discovering the not-synchronizable hint with Apple Health. But, I could not put the blame on Fitbit since it’s the first time I’ve had to deal with this issue. In the other hand, I’m liking the product and the amount of informations/insights available. I’m still using Apple health though ! The Fitbit for sleep patterns and when exercising, mostly through the tracker itself .. system1 consumer behaviour is tough to change hein ! Lol
overall, charge 5 is -until the current date-a usefull and good product! Apple Health not bridging directly is a huge downside.

Fitbit and Apple tend to keep their ecosystems separate. However, there might be some third-party apps or services that can help you achieve this integration.
Here's a general outline of steps you might take, but please keep in mind that the availability of third-party solutions and the integration methods might have changed since then: USPayServ Login
1. **Third-Party Apps:**
Look for third-party apps on the App Store that claim to provide integration between Fitbit and the Apple Health app. These apps may act as intermediaries, gathering data from your Fitbit account and then transferring it to Apple Health.
2. **SyncMyTracks:**
One app that was popular for syncing fitness data between platforms is "SyncMyTracks." It might support Fitbit-to-Apple Health syncing, but you would need to check if it's still available and up-to-date on the App Store.
3. **Google Fit:**
Fitbit has been acquired by Google, and Google Fit is another platform that tracks health and fitness data. If there's an integration between Google Fit and the Apple Health app, you might be able to indirectly transfer Fitbit data to Apple Health through Google Fit.
4. **IFTTT (If This Then That):**
IFTTT is a service that allows you to create automation between different apps and platforms. While it might not offer a direct Fitbit-to-Apple Health integration, you might be able to set up some workarounds using IFTTT applets or services.
5. **Manual Entry:**
If no direct integration options are available, you might need to manually enter your Fitbit metrics into the Apple Health app. This, of course, would be a time-consuming solution.
Before using any third-party apps or services, be sure to research their privacy policies and reviews to ensure they're legitimate and trustworthy. Keep in mind that technology landscapes change, so it's possible that new solutions have emerged since my last update.
For the most up-to-date information and solutions, I recommend checking the App Store, Fitbit's official website, and online forums or communities that discuss fitness and health app integrations.
