Custom HR not synced on app

In HR settings I have kept the personalized heart rate. Not the custom based on my age. But when I go to the app and look up BPM, the graph and the heart rate zones don’t reflect the personalized zones, it’s the custom based on my age. How can this change or be synched. I have updated and tried switching them to synch and nothing. The new app platform is trash and needs to be cleaned up. They’re going to lose business with the competition of fitness trackers and a way better platform
