Hieee! So i created a group on the Fitbit website and invited a few friends, but i can’t seem to find the group anywhere on the Fitbit app. I checked under the community bit on the app but it only shows the sort of generic public groups i’ve joined, like yoga and hiking etc. Help help!

Please keep in mind that when inviting friends to your custom group in the Fitbit app, you will only be able to find people that are currently your friends in the Fitbit app. You can add friends in the Fitbit app by syncing your phone contacts, connecting Facebook, through email or through their Username.
For the time being it's not possible to change the settings on a group to make it public, however, I would like to suggest you to check this suggested idea to implement a way to create open groups in the Fitbit app. Feel free to add your vote and comment, this is the best way to make your voice heard.

This is very frustrating! Still cannot see my group on the app, and when I try to log in to the website I keep getting bounced to re-enter my email & password. What gives?

First of all, I would like to apologize for the delay in the response. I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. Tell me, did you create the group in the Fitbit app or the online Dashboard. Note that at this moment, groups created in the Fitbit app are only visible in the Fitbit app and the same happens with groups created in the online Dashboard.
Now, if you're having trouble logging in to the Fitbit app, please clear the cache on your browser or try using a different one.
Give these steps a try and let us know the outcome.

I am also having trouble using the create a group feature in the App. I can add a name, description and rules but the "create" in the top right hand corner does not turn white so that it is active. When I touch the screen nothing happens. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the App and no such luck. I tried to attach a screen shot but couldn't figure out how. This site is not very user friendly.

I appreciate you have brought this to my attention. Please note the app will let you "create" a group once you have added a "group picture". Tap on the camera icon and choose the cover for your group. Once the image has uploaded you will be able to tap on "Create". Now, if you'd still like to provide us a screenshot, please follow these steps.
Give this a try and let us know the outcome.

The feature added to the app, that is repeatedly linked for you to vote on, only let's you create new custom groups in the app.
To vote for custom groups made on the website to be available in the app, vote here.

After very poor customer service through your chat feature in help - who also rudely disconnected when asked a question they did not know:
I need to delete my private community group. It is not available on the app, only my online dashboard. My family member has passed away and I don't want the group to be available to me. I am the admin and I've already deleted all other members.
What do I do?

The only way I can see to invite people to a group is by email. There is no way to access a friend list or easily share a link for people to save. There needs to be many improvements made to make groups easier to create, add friends (not by email), and send a link for people to join the group.
Also, I tried to add a screen shot and you don't even have a way for me to add an image to show what I am experiencing.
It is also amazing to see how canned the responses are instead of actually addressing the issues at hand.

So apparently this has been an ongoing issue .
I have created a closed group a month ago and now the posts for my members aren’t showing up in the app .
This is seems really buggy because it was working fine just a few short weeks after creation .
What has changed and how can I fix it ? This is a very important group and it’s disappointing that I can’t communicate with the members .
please help !

I haven't checked in online lately and now see that groups are gone! I loved competing with our whole hospital of employees! Will Fitbit please bring this back?!?

This is happening again in 2020. I can't see anything in my closed groups and I've tried everything. I've 1) logged out; 2) deleted the app; 3) cleared my cache; and 4) hard reset my device. I've spoken to others in the groups and they are having the same problem. What are we missing?
