I was on gym at treadmill and had my phone pulled up on the fitbit app.. I walked and ran for 35 minutes. While on treadmill 13 minutes of cardio showed up and my heart rate was over 125 while running. The summary that is showing on my dashboard now under exercise says I exercised for 20 minutes of "fat burn" with an avg bpm of 97. Thats lower bpm than when I leisurely walked my dog this am!
I also notice that 3 days in early July, it shows no exercise at all in the history. I walk my dog everyday and it logs into the history...but these 3 days show nothing. They do show my steps.
I logged in and out of my app to see if it would reset, but it didn't change.

Hi @SunsetRunner, welcome on board. It's nice to see a new member around.
Thanks for sharing detailed information about your device when exercising, let me help you with this. About the heart rate, there are many factors that will affect its accuracy, such as temperature, humidity, stress level, personal physiology, location of wear, and type of movement. Make sure your Fitbit device is snug on your wrist, meaning not too tight or loose. Also, to wear it higher on your wrist when you're doing exercise as described in this help article.
About your other inquiry, you mentioned that this happened in early July. Did you mean June, or were you talking about July 2018? Did you also refer to the SmartTrack, which is the feature to auto-recognize your activities? If so, I'd recommend to verify the duration set for your walk activity in the Fitbit app and try restarting your device.
Keep me posted.
