Deleting false driving steps

I have tried to log an activity as "driving" but it won't do anything to change my statistics (steps, cal count, distance). 

 

Surely there has to be an easy way remove the steps etc for the 45 mins that was logged while driving.

This feature has failed on android, I heard that they are looking into it.
