Does the Charge 6 support contactless payments?

Got an iPhone SE, running on iOS.18.3.2
Considering a Fitbit Charge 6.
Can I set up the watch for contactless payments?
Found no answers, sofar.

I use Apple pay with my AppleWatch all the time, but I'm in for a simpler, smaller watch.

Hi @webfoot.  I want to add some additional important information.  The Fitbit app uses Google Wallet, but specifically Google Wallet on Fitbit.  Not all banks participate in Google Wallet on Fitbit.  Please make sure your bank participates before taking the next step.  Supported Bank list  This issue comes up a lot with Android phone users.  Google wallet on Fitbit is different from Google wallet on their phone.

Thanks for your messages, but I think you miss the point.

As I posted in the community:
I own an iPhone SE with the latest version of iOS and an Apple Watch SE
with a low battery.
For a few years now I've done all my payments contactless with my watch, so
I 'm familiar with it.

Since the battery of the watch is waning, I think of switching my watch
for a FitBit Charge 6. My interest was triggered after I checked that this
device does support contactless payments. So tell me something I don't know.
Of course I also made sure that my bank does support Google Wallet on
FitBit.
It's on the support list I checked before, so again that's not my question.

What I really want to know is simple:
Can I install my cards on the FitBit of my choice, without Google wallet on
my iPhone, when the model I own does NOT SUPPORT Google wallet??
What url directs me to the procedure??

@webfoot   Your first post is very brief.  Moderators and Product Experts have a tendency to over-explain than under-explain.  You would have gotten very different answers if some of the information in your second post was in your first.

Yes, the Charge 6 supports contactless payments.  The Google Store technical specs page lists NFC chip in the components.  Google Wallet on Fitbit is part of the Fitbit app.  It will be there on your Fitbit app on your iPhone.
