Don't have Health and Wellness Reminders option in app

When I set up my Charge 4 a few days ago, I had the option to turn on "health and wellness reminders". I did this for the water and "mindfulness moments". But – I have now discovered that I despise these notifications, and I REALLY want to turn them off.

From everything I have looked up, there should be a "health and wellness reminders" section in the FitBit phone app under the Charge 4 device section. This is not there at all. Therefore I am stuck – how do I turn off these reminders?

I'm using an iPhone 7 Plus, my iOS is up to date, my app is up to date, my Charge 4 has had a firmware update in the last couple of days.

Things I have tried so far:

  • closing the app, powering down phone
  • uninstalling the app and reinstalling
  • logging out of the app
  • unpairing and then repairing my Charge 4
