Every time I get a notification from the Fitbit app pushed to my phone, it sends it twice.
I have tried restarting the phone, and resetting the tracker.
In case this has any bearing:
I used my fitbit Charge HR with my iPhone for a few weeks last year, then stopped using the tracker, uninstalled the app and forgot about it until recently. I then re-installed the app and started using the tracker again. I did not have the double notifications problem last year.

Thanks, @DerrickS
I'm on an iPhone 5s, iOS 9.2. I'll try to screenshot the double notifications on my locked screen. They don't show up in the Notifications section of the top pull down menu.

Best AnswerI've tried this numerous times...but its been a few months since the last time I did. Didn't work for me then but I'll give it another try and report back. Thanks
This is exactly what is happening to me! Super annoying! I hope they figure out what the issue is soon.
Best AnswerThis is a "Me too" post. I get triple notificaitons of everything from the FitBit iOS app. I'm running the latest iOS on an iPhone 6S+ with the latest FitBit app release. None of the suggestions have worked for me. Clearly from this thread, this has been going on for 6 months or more with no solution. I've updated the FitBit app every time. Come on folks, solve this.
