Hi, I have over 400 active Fitbit friends, and probably another 200 inactive currently. Is there an easier way to accept incoming friend requests rather than having to click each one individually, going in, accepting, and then back to notifications to do it all over again? Perhaps a mass way to accept them all and view them in one place rather than going through all notifications in regards to comments and cheers and everything else? This app is getting more and more innovative and the community is only growing. It took me a good 10 minutes to just go and accept all the new requests. I will post from time to time in the groups, some of which have a couple million members and lots of people will tend to follow after that. I absolutely love the Fitbit app and everything else. I’ve lost over 90 pounds and I constantly hashtag and promote the brand and want to continue to say I love everything it has to offer, while connecting with new people 🙂

Hi @Amberrsophiaa . Personally, I would not use a feature like that. Like @LZeeW , I’m more cautious when adding friends. But since this seems important to you, I suggest you post your idea to the Feature Suggestion forum. This will allow others to vote for your idea. The developers gage interest on ideas here.

@Amberrsophiaa I always look closely at every friend request before accepting. Many of the friend requests I get are from brand new accounts with no activity. This sets off an alarm that this is not a real account. I always reject these requests and report them as possible spam accounts.
I am not in favor of accepting multiple friend requests at one time. Not ever.

I do respect that other people may not want that option, however many people use apps like this or other social media accounts in different ways. Most apps have different options and privacy settings so someone like yourself could set it up where you can continue to monitor all requests and do things the way you like, while others would be able to control it in a way that works best for them. Facebook has the setting where only friends and friends of friends can add/find you, or you can keep it open to the public, or completely closed. Instagram has many options as well, Fitbit seems like it’s continuing to grow into more of a community type app where you can connect with others, therefore reevaluating and adding in some more setting *options* would be great. Not saying they need to change it for everyone, just give us options.

Thanks Carol!
i have posted on there 🙂 while many may not want the option or changes in the same way, in general just the requests appearing nearer and in one place, and having settings so that each person can choose their own preferences would be great. Other apps have options to even limit who can friend request or even find you, so just hoping Fitbit can put in some upgrades as they seem a bit behind on that part. Thanks for the info and sharing!
