Edit workout calories on new app

The new app version will not allow edits to be made to a workout other than when it starts and ends. The previous version allowed for that change. I contacted customer service and they confirmed that this is not possible to do in the new version of the app. I have to edit while exercising on the stair stepper, for some reason the Fitbit watch will not properly read my heart rate and calorie count while performing this exercise. Please make an update to the app to allow this. Thanks!
