Yesterday I accumulated 13 zone minutes over a 21 minute period during the same time I walked over 25 minutes and received no credit for exercise. Can someone explain to me why when I walked for 25 minutes without interruption and achieved 13 activity zone minutes I did not get credit for exercise. I would not bring this up unless this was something that happened on multiple occasions and I am curious to get an answer.
I do not recommend this but it has helped me on days when I wish to get credit for steps and exercise. I have found that if I put four fingers of the hand that is attached to the Fitbit in the pocket of my pants leaving the thumb out and walk for that time it is necessary to receive credit for exercise I have a 100% chance of getting full credit. The answer doing this I get credit for outdoor bike and not for steps. I don’t care what they call it I just know I get credit for exercise and credit for steps
