Fitbit Alta won't sync after silent alarm

My Alta won't sync after using the silent alarm. I used the silent alarm function for the first time this morning and now my Fitbit won't sync. I've tried plugging it back into the wall, turning my iPhone on and off, turning Bluetooth on and off, and it still won't work. This is the third Fitbit I've owned that has a syncing issue. I'm about ready to send it back and never get another Fitbit again. Ridiculous that I paid another $100+ for something that clearly does not work.

Usually when there is an update due the sync stops working after some change. Check the app store for updates. apply and reopen your app. the device prompts to be pair back with your fitbit device - pair it and you will see in secs - the two devices are in sync. Hope this helps...

Hi,

 

Im experiencing the same problem, altough inserting the Alta to charger cable solves this issue. But it is rather annoying. I get the silent alarm on when promoted but sometimes it doesn't show the alarm time, sometimes does. After the alarm it goes completely dead. Tapping doesn't get the display on or my phone doesn't find the Alta. Only getting it back to the charger makes it live again.

 

I just got this today but Im exprienced Fitbit user with first Flex then Charge3. Version of the software is 21.21.40.2

 

What should I do?

Seems that it needed to be charged full. Now its working!
