I've had my HR for about 9 months and never had any problems. Suddenly in the past day or so, I've noticed it wasn't syncing. I tried all of the self-help (restarting, turning off bluetooth, restarting phone, etc) to no avail. Finally, I tried removing the Fitbit from the app (which I've also reinstalled). When I tried to reinstall it, the app "found" my HR, but then got stuck on the "connecting to tracker" screen. Any ideas?

Welcome to the Forums @2crazyspaniels! Are these the steps you tried while troubleshooting this issue? Make sure that there isn't another bluetooth device that may be creating interference during the process. Also did you try setting up your tracker as a new device as instructed there? Last but not least make sure that your tracker is running the latest software version and your mobile device the latest version of the Fitbit app for iOs.
