Fitbit ChargeHR incorrect time and data not sync

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.
I have bought my Fitbit in Dec and it works properly. Suddenly two days ago the time turns incorrect (7 hours behind), 2 days synced data was missing, and the new data cannot be synced. I have tried to reset the tracker and I doesn't work...
What's happened??

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Scuscu, hope you're doing great today! By any chance, are you using the automatic timezone? If so, I'd recommend doing the following:

- Disable this option "Set automatically"

- Log out of your app

- Restart your Charge HR

- Log back into the Fitbit app

- Select the "Sync Now" option

Let me know if this works, have a nice weekend!

Thanks! I have disabled the option and have updated Fitbit version. The clock is okay now!
Data for today can be synced now though two-day data was missed. Anyways, will share if there is further problem. Thanks!

My FitBit HR suddenly started doing this yesterday when it has been working fine for many months. Time is wrong and a lot of synced data lost. It kept trying to resync. It started after I charged my FitBit. I do not have the time zone as floating. It corrected itself overnight after I gave up trying to get it to correct itself through syncing. I am worried it will do it again.

Hi @sharleyb,

I'd recommend making sure that you are using version 2.18 of the Fitbit iOS App. Click here to be redirected to the iOS App Store. Also, I'd recommend:

-Making sure that your iOS device's time is set correctly.
-Open the Fitbit App and click the account button.

-Click the advance settings button.

-Either toggle Set Automatically on or manually input your timezone.

-Sync your tracker for changes to take effect.

Let me know if you need any additional help!

How do I determine the version of the app that is operating on my phone?

@sharleyb You should be able to check one of two ways:

1. If you click the account button and then click the help button, it will display the app version at the top.

2. If there is an update available on the iOS App Store, you aren't using the most current version of the Fitbit App.

Hope this provides some clarification.
