Fitbit Inspire in iOS quit working

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I had a $30 tracker that kept beautiful sleep, HR and exercise data.  I switched to Fitbit because it is supported by my insurance company.  I get points for my weekly sleep numbers.  Well, 4/16/20 my device stopped working.  I am so upset that this **ahem** is not only more expensive than my previous version, but it not working for what I need it to do is so infuriating I am thinking of changing my rating of this product to 1 star.  This is ridiculous!!!

Hello @EricsLady and welcome to the Help forum.  First, I want you to know that there are many knowledgeable users on the forum who would love to help you.  Second, I see you are a brand new user.  Can you please give us some more information:

  • Which model Fitbit are you using?
  • Can you describe how your device stopped working?
  • Is it still counting steps?
  • Are you having difficulty syncing to your Fitbit account?
  • If you are having difficulty syncing, can you please describe what happens?

Hello,

I have the Inspire. It stopped keeping track of my sleep dispute wearing
it every night. I get 25 points per week for sleeping 7 hours or more per
night and right now. I am going to get a zero because tracking stopped on
4/17/20.

My iPhone is running the latest software version and does automatic
updates.

Thanks,
Darla

@EricsLady   I don't have specific advice for you.  I never used an Inspire, so I haven't had to troubleshoot that problem.  I am attaching a link to the Inspire Manual.  It has general troubleshooting advice -- try a restart of your Inspire (p29).

I think you will get more help from this site if you change the title of your thread.  If you look at your first post in the thread, there is an ellipsis in the upper right.  Tap on that and you can edit your title to something more focused, like "Inspire not tracking sleep," if that is the only issue.  Let's hope another user has advice for you.

If you do not get an answer here, feel free to contact Support directly.

Like everyone else, I am having issues with the exercise tracking.  The week before everything was great.  Got credit for 6 days.  Last week zero.

Verified current iOS. Per instructions soft reboot, cleared cache, re-synced.  Nothing.

Hard reboot, cleared cache, etc. per instructions.  Nothing.

at this point it really is an app/device issue.  Frankly not a good impression for a new user.
