Hi There!

i have not been able to get my One to sync in 4 days. I have deleted app, restarted my phone, turned Bluetooth off and tried to add a new device/replace (my One wasn't detected and it just kept 'searching'). Please advise. Thank you

Having tried restarting your phone without any luck I would try restarting your fitbit using this procedure:

  1. Plug your charging cable into your computer.
  2. Plug your Fitbit One tracker into the charging cable, making sure that the gold contacts on your tracker align with the gold contacts in the inside of the charger.
  3. Hold down your tracker's button for 10-12 seconds.
  4. Remove your tracker from the charging cable and press its button until the screen turns on.

Give this a few tries though as it sometimes doesn't work.

Thank you for answering these questions for fitbit products. I have a recurring issue of blue tooth connectivity with my Fitbit One since apple's update iOS to 11.2.1. I am receiving a warning that says "error, your blue tooth is turned off..." Of course the blue tooth is not off.

I live in Alaska (heaven on earth), work in Los Angeles (hell on earth). 24 hours ago I was on Alaska Air from Anchorage to LA. My fitbit stopped connecting at 6:00 am, about the time our flight arrived to Los Angeles. My phone and fitbit has not talked (synced) since, I suspect counseling may be warranted.

I followed the recommendations from your post:

Next-

I tried the following

1. turned off the blue tooth and wifi on my phone.

2. then started the fitbit app on the phone

3. then turned on the blue tooth, followed by the wifi

This did not work.

Next-

I then said to the fitbit app "forget this device."

now I am attempting to set up the fitbit one device, but the app does not "see" the fitbit.

Any suggestions at this point?

Thanks, and Happy New Years !!

Your solutions eventually worked.

I followed all the steps you provided. I turned off the fitbit, and the phone off, on, off, back on, then turned on the blue tooth and restarted the fitbit. Then went to the Set Up New Device, and the fitbit app finally recognized the fitbit one, provided a security code (4 digits), and followed the steps from there on. Worked well. Thank you!

  1. Plug your charging cable into a USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display. Your tracker will begin charging.

  3. Press the button on your charging cable 3 times within a few seconds, briefly pausing between presses. The button is on the end of the charging cable that is plugged into your computer. When you see the Fitbit logo and the tracker vibrates, this means the tracker has restarted.
  4. Unplug your tracker from the charging cable.
