Fitbit Versa app cannot find my wifi

I recently got my girlfriend the Fitbit Versa 2 and she has followed the steps carefully and the app cannot find the WIFI even though her phone is connected. We have restarted the watch multiple times and the app as well. Is this a fault in the manufacturing? How do we fix this problem? She cannot do half of the features because the watch refuses to connect to the wifi.

What exactly are the symptoms telling you it cannot find wifi?  Are you getting some specific error message?  When do you see this symptom?

What version of WiFi @Icebud only the 2. 5 will work. 

Was WiFi working on your tracker and now it isn't? The tracker needs to be charging for its WiFi to be turned on. 

 

Are you trying to setup the WiFi connection. 

Is the phone connected to the WiFi that you want the watch to connect to? 

Is the watch plugged in and charging?
