Hi Guys, i have a fitbit alta that seems to be working and measuring steps. Although my notifications wont show up from my iPhone 4s. I have deleted the app and tryed to re-set up but i cant get past the stage where it wants to connect. I have been sitting here for about and hour and it is still on the SEARCHING... stage. Help would be great as i need this fibit for work...

In this particular case, before trying to set up your Alta as a new device, I would like to suggest the following:

  • Restart your Alta and keep it plugged in and charging.
  • Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices, if it is, select it and tap on Forget this Device.
  • Restart your phone
  • Try to set up Alta as a new device once again.
