A 12 mile walk kills my Sony Experia battery, so was looking at getting an ipod touch so I can listen to music on my walks

Anyone got a fitbit connected to an ipod touch. What's the battery life like, and does it do everything a phone does? Thanks so much for your help 😀

I don't have a Touch so can't offer any direct help but if you look at the fitbit list of supported devices at www.fitbit.com/devices it lists both the 5th and 6th generation touches along with a list of the functions they support.
