Hello everyone, thanks for your participation in the Community.

We're aware of an issue where some customers are seeing a blank or white screen with the app version 3.32.1. We're working on getting this resolved as quickly as possible. In the meantime, try uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit app.

Please note I have merged several threads with this issue. I will have more information for you once this has been fully resolved. Thanks for your reports and continued patience as we work on a fix.

Can you help with answers to the questions relating to the IOS users suggesting we delete the app... will everyone lose their past year’s data by doing so?

This is not just “remove to library”, but “delete”, correct? Then shut off/turn on phone, and re-install app?

thanks, jill

Deleting app, and reinstalling worked. Just now. And I didn’t lose any of my stats! Thanks.

The app data is not lost when you delete it. Reinstall and log back into your account and everything will still be there.

Sorry everyone. No you wont lose any data when you delete the app as it is stored on the Fitbit Servers, rather than in the app. This issue seems to be affecting only iOS users for some reason. I will flag a moderator to see if more help is available. (I am not an iOS person)

I ended up having to delete app and reload it. I was worried it would delete my information, but it was all good!! Like my posts said it’s because we login to the app that I believe the criteria is still there vs it just being a regular app that’s deleted.

Thanks yes, deleted app, re-installed and all is fine; just somewhat worrying when, as you are about to delete the App, the iPhone wants you all data will be lost! i had therefore opened the app on my IPad to check it also had all the data, so felt more confident pressing the fatal button....

presumably if i upgrade from Charge 2 to a 3 or 4 it also carries over the historical data?

Fitbit is down?. App is blank white with Fitbit logo on top  I restarted my phone but no change. Looks like the app was updated recently. What’s going on?
