Recent iOS update, 3.73 was released this morning. I have reviewed the information looking for changes that make the iOS app friendlier for those who are blind or reading disabled. The edit button is still not available to people using the Apple voice over screen reader. The hourly data screens provide minimal if any useful information for the blind in reading disabled. The home screen sleep tile still does not provide time and percentages for sleep stages as it once did. The heart rate numbers on the home screen which were removed with version 3.72 are not  Available as part of the upgrade 3.73.

It’s installing version 3.73. I have observed the following intermittently, reoccurring problem. Tiles for steps, calories, floors and zone minutes have reversed, and the screen has frozen. Also, a new twist in that while swiping through the Fitbit home screen the steps, calories, floors and zone tiles have disappeared. The edit button is still not available. Supposed to refresh still does not work. Heart rate and zone information on the home screen still is not available. And all of the other issues I have brought up in the past have not been resolved. I keep hoping that resolution to one or more of these issues  Will be in the upcoming update.

Hey, after reaching my step Street goal this morning, I anxiously awaited to see if the total days would become retroactive to when my step Street started. The answer is no the steps creek banner does not show the true number of consecutive days of reaching step Street goal. This morning the number I received was 113 days. This total is after the second step streak reset. The true number of days in my step streak is 823 consecutive days of meeting step goal. I don’t know when the issues with the iOS version  of the Fitbit app will be corrected. At least today I am glad I am not using a Samsung phone and android software because those Fitbit users are dealing with a massive problem without resolution as of yet.

Oh this morning I check to see what the most recent version of the iOS app is. In the community I clicked on iOS app and page down approximately 12 pages. I clicked on the link for most recent app version. The response that came up. If I remember correctly was version 3.41. I then went to the App Store where I was able to confirm that the most current app is 3.73.
