Fitbit app doesn’t record workout

My Fitbit has for some time now not recorded a workout that I start off on the app.  At the end it says something like insufficient data.  It’s usually if I do a workout or swim. It doesn’t register distance so doesn’t recognise it as a workout.  It used to do this so something has changed.  I’m thinking it’s a setting but have spent way too long trying to put it right.  Any suggestions welcome. Thank you 😊

A warm welcome to the forums @mrsboggle

Thank you for providing the details regarding this difficulty that you are experiencing with the Fitbit app.

I'm not quite sure if you are still having this difficulty. Also, can you share with me which device are you using?

In the meantime, please tap on your profile picture/gear icon in the upper right of your Fitbit app, then Exercise. Look for the Stride Length setting. The default setting is automatic. Toggle it off.  For more information, see Can I change my stride length in my Fitbit account?

I gave an Inspire 3 and still have the problem. Have followed your instructions but it was toggled off anyway. Thanks
