Really sick of the app claiming it is syncing and refreshing but it’s not! So disappointed in the app. Notifications haven’t worked in over a year.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing the issues you're experiencing with syncing and receiving notifications. I totally understand how you are feeling and I am here to help. I recommend following the troubleshooting steps in this help article if your device is not syncing: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? You may also try to log out, force quit the app and then log back in to your Fitbit account.
Regarding the issue with notifications, it’s important that you carefully review and update your notifications settings on your iPhone. Please follow all instructions in Troubleshooting quick tips for iPhones.

I have done every one of the troubleshooting guidelines. Including uninstalling and reinstalling the app.i have done this all at least 4 times in the last year, 😫
- I use the app on my IPad Pro 9.7
- yes I am running the appropriate IOS,
- yes my Fitbit is charged and updated. (Charge 3)
- no I have no other Bluetooth equipment connected or in competition
This has been going on for months, where one day it syncs and then doesn’t for 4 or 5 days. It works fabulously on my phone, but that is super inconvenient for me, since I use this to log food and everything. I use my IPad for all of my health things. Don’t really want it on my phone.
Tonight was my breaking point, trying to refresh, and log my dinner meals and water, and it keeps asking me to creat a meal, nothing is showing up. My sleep logs don’t update, my steps don’t update, 😠😕
I love my Fitbit, but this app is horrific......can we get this fixed? PLEASE?
I really want to upgrade my fit bit, but not going to pay all this money if the app isn’t doing what it is supposed to, what is the point?
