Fitbit app notifications alert not going away

My iPhone 6 shows a red circle :red_circle: at bottom of dashboard, but there are no notifications/messages. How do I get the :red_circle: to go away?

Hi @Ajdwh, good to see you here.

I've merged this thread with the other thread you created. This will allow other users to reply in the one thread.

In the notifications tab try switching between notifications and messages a couple of times and see if that clears the notification dot. If not I woukd next suggested logging out and back into the fitbit app.

Thank you, but I did both & it didn’t help. I stayed logged out for quite a while. When I click on the red dot, it shows the red dot on ‘notifications’ but there are no notifications. All else is working fine - this is just an aggravation.
