Fitbit app on iphone won't show the previous day's data - crashing a lot

I followed previous community postings for similar problems. This morning the Fitbit app on my iphone kept crashing everytime I tried to open it. I deleted the app and reinstalled twice.  I shut down the iphone and turned back on. I can now open the app but I can't see the previous day's data without the program crashing.  Running out of things to try.  I can use the computer browser to access the fitbit data but it is certainly easier to access the data on my phone.
