Any thoughts on why this happens frequently throughout each day?

It looks like no device has been added to the Fitbit account.

Please check the setup procedure

The same thing happens to me at least once a day. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, having my phone forget then re-detect my Sense, rebooted the Sense and phone (an iPhone 7) and it continues to happen...even if the Sense is sitting right next to the phone.

@slbert

Are you saying when you pull down in the main Fitbit App window that it says no device found?

Firstly, Can you see if this simple Sync repair works for you perhaps instead of all the other troubleshooting measures.

If not, probably best to inform Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you.

Try these sync tips @Irish57 and @slbert

As for removing the tracker from your phones Bluetooth, this is a good step to try. However you can not re-pair, simply open the Fitbit app.

Removing a non syncing tracker from your Fitbit account, usually simply adds more problems.

It doesn't not sync all the time. If I swipe down on the app (after the message clears), it will take a bit but it will find the Sense. This just happens every once in a while.

The next time it does it, I will try the sync repair and see if it takes care of it. It's just more of a pest than anything.

Hi @Irish57 and @slbert, welcome on to the Community Forums! Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Sense before reaching out and for the screenshot attached.

Since you both are on iOS devices in case you run into the same issue, please try removing the Bluetooth connection between your phone and your Fitbit device:

*On your phone, tap Settings Bluetooth > the information icon next to the name of your Fitbit device > Forget This Device.
*Open the Fitbit app and set up the connection again. You should receive a message asking you to allow your Fitbit device to pair with your phone. Tap Pair to approve the request.

Sync your Sense automatically when you open the Fitbit app or manually by tapping your profile picture > your device tile > Sync Now.

I've moved this post to iOS App for organization purposes.

Let us know how it goes.

@MarreFitbit, thanks for the suggestion, but that hasn't solved my issue.
