Fitbit app says there's no internet connection.

I have previously used the Fitbit app on my iPhone without any problems.

Bought and setup a Fitbit Alta HR successfully last night. App was syncing and working.

This morning the app advises me there is no internet connection. I am able to use internet and other apps like Facebook and Instagram. So i obviously have internet.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app without success.

Moderator Edit: Clarified Subject.

Any suggestions?

Hello @Z89, thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

This seems like a very odd situation. Is this happening when you're using cellular data or Wi-Fi? In this particular case I would like to recommend you to check your phone Settings to make sure everything's in order. Please go to Settings > Fitbit  and check that Background App Refresh and Cellular Data are enabled.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else! Smiley Wink
