Fitbit app showing a white screen

I have had my Fitbit app on my iPhone for 5 years. A week ago I pushed the button to open the app and all that showed up was a white screen with the Fitbit name at the top in blue and a line across the bottom. Why and what is happening here? How do I fix this?

2 questions:
1. How do I “force quit” the app?
2. If I uninstall, then reinstall, won’t I lose all my stats?

Thank you for your reply, @CandyW.

You can force quit the app by following the steps from this help article: How to force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touchRegarding your concern, your data is uploaded to the Fitbit servers and you should be able to uninstall and reinstall the app without losing your data.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @theheadsoffice.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing that you see the white icon. Thanks for trying to resolve this by uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I recommend to force quit the app and then open the Fitbit app again. It may take a moment for it to load. If the issue persists, please take a screenshot and attach it in your reply so I can investigate.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.
