Fitbit app showing message that the Bluetooth is off when it's currently on.

Since the release of iOS 11 the Fitbit app sporadically believes that Bluetooth is off even though it is turned on and displays the following message:  “One isn’t syncing because your iPhone’s Bluetooth is off”

Thank you!!! This worked, I had tried all the other things of turning bluetooth on/off, restarting phone, syncing and nothing was working.

I deleted the Fitbit off my phone trying to reset but it kept reading turn on Bluetooth.   The Bluetooth is on.

So I tried all the blue tooth off, wifi off, etc etc with no luck.  Finally I went to settings.  Scrolled all the way down to fitbit.   Clicked on that and there's a line saying allow fitbit to access bluetooth and it was OFF for some reason.  Switched it on and ---- voila!   Back to normal.  I had an iPhone upgrade recently and I'm guessing that's what messed things up.

Your temporary fix does not work- when will this glitch be fixed so I can use my Fitbit? It has incorrect date and time as well as not syncing.

I have my Fitbit synced with my HP Laptop, and until today, except for occasional slowness, it has worked well. For some reason, it shows a message 'Bluetooth is off,' but I did nothing to turn it off. Now I can only sync by putting it in the charging cradle. How do I fix this? I haven't done any updates since acquiring the device, and am unaware of any automatic updates.

under settings I clicked on Bluetooth and it said I was connected to my Fitbit although the app said I was not. I came back out of Bluetooth setting, scrolled down on settings page past ‘general’ where it shows all the apps I have installed and there I clicked on Fitbit and there is where I had to turn Bluetooth on

Thank you so much! I can’t believe folks at FitBit still has not figured this out. They should be embarrassed.

Given all the glitches I've been experiencing--such as delays in syncing--I'm tending toward agreeing with you.

Just an update.

When I went to "Settings" and selected the "Fitbit App", there are an number of setting there and one of them is "Bluetooth", which has an on / off switch, that has to be turned to On.  Once I did that, then I was able to sync my Fitbit.

Unfortuanately all the help that I was reading was saying to go to Setting and turn on Bluetooth, but the failed to say was you had to select Fitbit first in setting and then turn on Bluetooth under the Fitbit App Settings.

Hope this helps.
