Fitbit app shows the profile of a different person

All of a sudden now when I use the Fitbit app on my iPhone 8, the profile in the app is for a different person that I don't know. All the stats and tracking sata appears to be fine, and mine, but the profile picture, name, and personal data including friedns is for a different person. What's going on, and how do I fix it?

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and let's work on this together. While it's odd that your profile doesn't show your details, I'd recommend to try the following steps:

 

  1. Open the Fitbit app and tap your profile picture.
  2. Scroll down and tap on Security and Login.
  3. Verify if your email address is correct and change your password. For tips to set a secure password, check this help article.
  4. Go back to the Account screen and tap on Log Out.
  5. Log into your Fitbit account one more time using your new password.
