Fitbit charge not syncing to app

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Since yesterday my charge 2 won't sync with my iPhone 7, it's been working perfectly since Christmas Day. I've tried disconnecting the Bluetooth but it won't find my device again it just keeps saying looking. There's plenty of battery so I have no idea why. The only thing I've done different is I updated my goals for 2017 as prompted. Any help would be appreciated thank you

Hello @Yelle15, thanks for joining us. It's nice to see new faces around!  Smiley Happy

Fitibt trackers do not pair automatically through the Bluetooth settings on your phone, they paired using the Fitbit app, which is why you're not able to see it there. In this particular situation, I would like to suggest the following:

  1. Restart your tracker
  2. Restart your phone
  3. Turn your Bluetooth off for 10 seconds and turn it back on.
  4. Make sure there are no other Bluetooth devices around that might affect the syncing process.

If your tracker is still not syncing, please try to add it as a new device to reset the connection between the tracker and your phone. Don't worry, none of the information stored in your account will be deleted.

To set up your tracker as a new device:

  1. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account tab at the bottom of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
  2. Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue
  3. When the app asks you to replace your current tracker, please replace it and continue with the process.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and if you need anything else, please feel free to reply. Smiley Wink
