While I appreciate another response to the reminders issue, this has been solution number 108 give or take. I am looking for another tracking device that does not require a constant work arounds for basic function

Thanks for joining this thread as well as reviewing the steps shared in this thread. While there are some troubleshooting steps that we recommend to get a Fitbit device working correctly, I understand where you're coming from as this shouldn't be done so every day. I'm sorry this was the case with your Fitbit device and appreciate the time taken in sharing your feedback.

In case you want to give one last try, and because your post didn't mention, could you confirm if you're having the same issue about the Reminders to move setting showing up as Disabled? Or is the issue with your Fitbit device not receiving the reminders? Also, what is the model of your Fitbit device?

Hi there, @Gail17.

Thanks for getting back. Because you're having a different issue, I've moved your posts to this new thread. I appreciate the steps tried on your own and to work on this may I know the model of your Fitbit device?

In the meantime, please give a try to the following steps:

  1. Forget your Fitbit device from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Restart your Fitbit device to refresh its performance.
  3. Make sure the DND and Sleep Mode are turned off. To do this, check the instructions described here.
  4. Open the Fitbit app and pull down on the screen to force a manual sync.
  5. Wait for the next hour and let me know if you receive a reminder. Take in mind these reminders will appear only if you haven't walked 250 steps.

Well now I get hourly and steps milestones  reminders but not any other. And it won’t sync regularly without a reset.

I have the fitbit app, flagged to send notifications, not sure if this was the fix for me.
