@KateFitbit and @LizzyFitbit it seems as though with every app update i have to turn off features to keep the tracker compatible with the iOS app. The weird thing is that the same issues aren't present on the android app.
Is there any reason why this continues to happen despite all the bug fixes and stability improvements Fitbit is making to the app? App history available here https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2025/
I've also taken notice that the iOS app is missing features when compared to the android app. For example, there is no widget for the iOS app despite the android app having one.
I'm curious because it seems like the Fitbit app is falling behind the development of the android app. I like using my fitbit, but at the rate its going i probably won't be able to use it after the next update or so because it won't be compatible with the app. I'm also not going to switch to an android phone to use my fitbit.
Will the ios app be brought up to par with the android version?
