iPhone 6s, iOS 9.21

probably not a Fitbit error, but an iPhone/IOS problem, or my error.

today, I tried tracking a walk with Fitbit mobile, instead using my Surge.

The app added 3 km, at the beginning.

I know that you can set localisation to use only  GPS on an androïd smarphone, but i didn't find this option on iOS.

Is it possible ?

Thanks

@SunsetRunner It's great to see you in the Community! It's weird that your app added some distance at the beginning. Regarding your question, yes you can go ahead and use GPS so you can have localization on your iOS device. Take a look at this help article and you will get some steps in order to enable this option.

Hello,

the problem is not to enable the localisation, i know how.

the problem is to enable it with only the GPS, and not in GPS assisted mode (GPS + wifi + mobile antennas)

Hi @SunsetRunner,

Can you please rephrase your question?

I think what you are looking for might be something that's in your iOS settings; for example, modifying: cell data usage, iOS location services, Background App Refresh, etc.

Keep me posted!
