My Fitbit seems to count steps when I am counting money where I work is there a way to stop this ? Or is it just pointless to have one ?

Are you wearing it on your non dominant arm? Also you can't change the sensitivity on it so that's worth checking too. If you wear it slightly further up wrist it's better for step accuracy but less for heart rate.

My Charge 2 counts steps even when I am just sitting on the couch.
