Fitbit wont sync to My Iphone 7 plus

I need some help i got a fitbit blaze for christmas and it will not do anything when i try to sync it to my phone and it just pops up the fitbit symbole and flashes from time to time can anyone help me

In order to setup your tracker to your iPhone 7 Plus, please remember the following:

  • The tracker should be fully charged in order to set it up.
  • Make sure there are no other devices around that might interfere with the setup process. 

If you have checked this already, I would like to suggest the following:

  1. Restart your tracker by pressing and holding the Back and Select buttons (left and bottom right) until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen.
  2. Go to the Bluetooth settings to check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device. 
  3. Restart your mobile device.
  4. Plug in your tracker and make sure it's charging
  5. Try to set up your tracker once again:
    • Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account tab at the bottom of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
    • Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue
