Flex will not update no matter what I do

I have been trying all day to do the update it says is available and get a "Internal Server Error 500" code. I have read all the forum suggestions on this and have tried MULTIPLE TIMES:
1. Turning off my Bluetooth for 10 Seconds
2. Logging out and in of Fitbit App on my IPhone 6
3. Restarted the Fitbit while it was recharging with a paper clip.
4. Restarted my IPhone
What am I doing wrong?

Wonderful troubleshooting @SailorRon

 

If not already done, if the internet router is turned on for a longer time.. consider to turn it off and on. As sometimes it can cause websites not wanting to load or the internet goes slower than normally..
