Follow iOS 11 Update AND Fitbit App Update

After I updated iOS 11, I did not note any issues with my FitBit Blaze, but then there was an update to the app shortly afterwards. After updating the app, I am seeing a few issues, but the most important one to me is that it is no longer displaying heart rate on the Blaze or in the app. The green light still flashes on the back, but it displays -- on the front and in the app.

Things I have already done:

  • Restarted the Blaze multiple times
  • Changing the settings to off and and back auto.
  • Uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
  • Disconnecting it from Bluetooth and adding it back again.
  • Cleaned the back.

Any other ideas?

I received my replacement Fitbit Blaze today.

I won't be able to check is the sleep feature is working until tomorrow, but the heart rate tracking is back and working perfectly! I am overjoyed!

Same here.. I only get alarms and calls now. I have already done the following none of which worked:

Checked settings
Restart the Blaze
Restart the Phone

Disconnect/reconnect bluetooth then restart the Blaze and restart the Phone. Checked settings

Remove/Reinstall the Blaze, checked settings, then restart the Blaze and restart the Phone

Remove/Reinstall the Fitbit App, checked settings, then restart the Blaze and restart the Phone

I reached out to Fitbit through their chat link but they said they would "get back to me" so no solution at this time.

They got back to me and simply gave me instructions again, the same stuff I had done previously to contacting them and the same things they had me do all over again in the chat.

I guess it is time for me to find a tracker from a different company. One that actually works.

Soooo disappointed. A lot of money for nothing.
