Food log, it takes a long time to take me to where I select quantity

When I select a food to log it, it takes a long time to take me to where I select quantity etc. Most times it simply just won’t work. I just upgraded my phone and had to Restart so my text and phone notifications would come through, and I hoped this would correct the food log error but it is persisting

Thank you for sharing that you've been experiencing this inconvenience when logging your food. 

 

Before considering other options, please try the following, as they have been useful for other users experiencing some problems with the app:

 

  • Log out from the app.
  • Clear Cache and Cookies for the Fitbit app on your phone's settings 
  • Restart your phone. 
  • Log back in to check if you're able to log food properly. 

In addition, please make sure that your Operating System on the phone and the Fitbit app are updated to the latest version available.

    Thanks for your help, but could you please advice how I “Clear Cache and Cookies for the Fitbit app on your phone's settings”? I couldn’t find anything in my iPhones settings for this

@SunsetRunner Thank you for your response. 

 

I was able to find these steps for iPhone devices: 

 

  1. Open your iPhone's settings.
  2. Scroll until you see the eligible app (Fitbit), then tap it.
  3. Look for a "Clear cache" option. If the toggle next to it is green, tap it to clear the app's cache.
