Food log continues to be useless: not working at all with anything that is not in recent list. Barcode scan not working.

With 1 scan I can see the battery of iPhone draining from 49% tp 34% is that crazy??

Please avoid replies like reboot iPhone or reinstall app: I did it already so many times!

Food log, spinning hour glass, terribly frustrating. 3 year old iPad, lots of memory, latest software, fast Internet. This procedure so far has solved the problem: Turn off Bluetooth whenever you are adding food.
