Hi @annayers12 and welcome to the Community!
I would first recommend making sure that you've updated your App to version 2.24.1 that was released this morning. Click here to be redirected to the iOS App Store.
Next, I would recommend making sure that you have enabled WiFi and mobile data while you go for a run, this will help improve GPS accuracy.
I would also recommend making sure that you have Background App Refresh enabled. This can be done by: opening your iOS settings > scroll down and click on the Fitbit App > and toggling Background App Refresh on.
Lastly, I would recommend considering switching your location permission for the Fitbit App from 'While Using the App" to "Always". The Always setting will automatically restart your workout whenever there is an unexpected interruption. This can be done by: opening your iOS settings > tap Locations Services > and selecting either "While Using the App" or "Always".
Hope this helps!
