I have checked all of my settings on my phone as per the instructions online (background refresh, cell data, privacy settings). All are correct, but tonight's run does not show a map anywhere in the app. What could be causing this? I had my phone in my pocket on my run and wore my Fitbit Charge 2.
Thank you!

When you enter the run mode from your Fitbit, do you see a phone icon? Twice, I've been stymied by this issue and there's no mention of this one last step in the Fitbit help articles to get the GPS tracking (and maps) for Runs, Walks, Hikes, etc.
If you've checked all of your other settings and no phone icon on your device when you start the exercise, do this:
1) Open App
2) Touch the image of your device in the upper left
3) Open up the selection for "Exercise Shortcuts" (*) below
4) Go into the desired exercise, in you case "Run."
5) Turn ON "Connected GPS."
* If your desired exercise doesn't appear in exercise shortcuts, search instructions on how you can add it there. Note that there is a limit to the number (and type) of exercises you can add to shortcuts. Run is definitely included. But if you find you are at the limit of 7 and want to add another, you'll have to remove a different one to make space.
