GPS not tracking properly

I walk the same path every day and lately the app is not accurately timing me. Some days I hit one mile at one location, the next it’s totally different. And it says I was a certain speed and the next day is different. I can’t walk a 10 minute mile, but yesterday it says I did.  Is this an issue with my Fitbit or with the app?

Thanks for providing the details regarding GPS.

Before considering other options, I'd suggest you performing a restart on your device.

On your Fitbit app, try to develop these steps:

  • Log out from the Fitbit app.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  • Open the Fitbit app and log back into your account.
  • Check if the app is timing now.
