“Ghost” calories in food logger

Shouldn’t the development team test the updates before you send them out to all the customers devices. The app is such a mess at the moment in regards to improper logging of food the iOS app and Fitbit webpage don’t match and I’ve got “ghost” calories in my food logger for today, I logged my egg and spinach breakfast and that’s good for 300 calories but it’s saying I’ve ate 1300 calories so far. There’s 1000 calories unaccounted for that I can’t simply delete because there is nothing else logged besides my eggs and spinach. I always dread the updates because rarely does anything work afterwards.

It’s good to see you in the community, @plnkfloydian.

Thanks for the details shared in your post. I understand how you are feeling and appreciate your feedback, our team is always working on our products and services, and your comments are always welcome. I recommend trying the following:

  1. Log out from the Fitbit app.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  3. Reboot your phone.
  4. Open the Fitbit app and log back in to your account.
  5. Sync your Fitbit and check your details.

For more information about tracking food, please see How do I track my food with the Fitbit app?

Hope this helps.
