I have just tried to transition my Fitbit device to my Google account and all (ALL!) of my data seems to have disappeared (even from the Fitbit dashboard). Not only that, but my Fitbit device has reset itself to factory settings (all apps and settings have been wiped). This may have been an issue I caused, but I doubt it as I followed the Google directions exactly. How do I revert back to and recover my previous Fitbit account and device settings/apps? Any help would be most appreciated. Pending a positive outcome, I think I may be looking for another provider (the move of Fitbit to Google, and please understand that I am a big fan of Google's other offerings, has been disastrous (and reputationally harmful): If this happens to something as simple as a health tracker then how will all of my data on other platforms be protected?).
