Google log in for Fitbit

Fitbit is migrating all accounts to google. From speaking with a rep at Fitbit, google acquired Fitbit. Eventually all users of the app will have to log in with a google account. 
I am the first of my friends to log in with google because I had to set up my replacement phone.  As a result I see my friends list without their profile or step count. As they migrate to google the data will return.

Hi @Franniedc  by 2025, we will all have to migrate over to Google. I'm still using my Fitbit account and so are many of my Fitbit friends.

Hi maybe you know this answer. I factory reset my versa 3 and now they tell me to go to google account to recover it….. when I do it say something went wrong I have no idea what do I’m getting frustrated

Hi @Klt73  you'll probably need to try to get with customer support. They are overwhelmed at the moment, but it can't hurt to try chat or phone. Let us know what they tell you as it might help someone else.
