While I workout on eliptical or on the treadmill, I like to have the Fitbit app up on my iPhone to get realtime heart rate. Since I just purchased an iPhone 7 recently (used to have 5), it has stopped giving me the realtime heart rate and it is annoying to have to check my HR on the actual watch while I workout. The app only displays my days resting HR. Is there a way to get realtime HR on the iPhone 7 fitbit app?

Hello @bill34ksc, thanks for joining us, it's great to have you on board! ![]()
Currently, the Fitbit app can only show your resting heart rate, it does not show your current heart rate (pulse). I understand your situation and I thinks it's a terrific idea for the tracker to sync constantly to get your current heart rate shown on the app.
I went ahead and found a suggested idea by @MickeyW to implement this feature in a future update. Feel free to add your vote and comment to show your support, this is truly the best way to make your voice heard.
I hope this can be helpful, please feel free to reply in case you need anything else! ![]()
