Hey, everyone. I'd like to say something about something that's going on with both my phone and Charge 6. On the Fitbit dashboard in the website and the device itself, it's saying fat burn zones is 112 bpm. However, in the mobile app, it's saying that my fat burn zone is 131. For that manner I'm earning too much active zone minutes. Can I fix this? And if so, how? (13 years Male).

I’m having the exact same issues, and only since yesterday. I’m getting hundreds of zone minutes per day, but all of a sudden burning no calories. I’ve reset it multiple times, and nothing has worked.

active zone minutes is indicating 1000+ a day and recording high activity even when I am relatively inactive, during hours I am quite still. What could be causing this? Thank you.

  • 10 days ago my charge 5 seemed to change the way it calculates zone minutes. I have had device for a year and another Fitbit 4 before that. I averaged 150 to 250 zone minutes a week.  I typically had to go for a walk or to the gym to get my minutes.  Last week my device recorded 2100 minutes and so far this week I have 1750.  I am not doing any crazy exercise. My heartbeat graphs look the same as before but now earn 300 to 400 zone minutes a day.  I think the device is faulty Any ideas?  I have the latest software downloaded.

Hello @Aaront5845 & @CTSGson

Have you had a chance to restart your Charge 5 either from the settings menu on your Fitbit or by using the charging cable that came with your device? That's usually the first troubleshooting step to try. Also, it might take more than 1 restart attempt to get your device back to working normally.

Thanks for the suggestion.  I have tried to restart the Fitbit about 5 times but it doesn’t seem to help.  Hoping a solution can be found.

665 zone minutes today with only 6400 steps.  There is no way that is right.

We’re talking about Charge 6, not 5.

I realized that after a couple of months, it learns and then everything’s gonna be fine.

Hello and thanks for the tips.  I tried all the steps indicated. My age was incorrect but I corrected it 4 days but still have far too many zone minutes: 4050 this week! And 512 today.
