Hack around iOS rejection?

Seems as if Fitbit has decided to reject the community of Apple users who have devices later than version 6 of the iPhone. Has anybody figured out a way around that so that we can still use Apple phones of recent vintage and also enjoy our fitbit devices and community? Is the condition temporary with fervid code monkeys working away in their cubicles at fitbit to help out? Can we go to a Goodwill store and buy a crusty old cellphone and use it without a cellular connection? HALP!

Hey @hhanover

That's a really good question to ask these reps at this link. They would be the best to know how far back they go before they stop supporting these old versions.

My educated guess is it costs money and betting on lots of money to support those old versions.

My 2 cents

Thanks very much for the tip. I worked with the tech and, lo and behold, my iPhone X healed up and interacted perfectly with the fit bit app. It is cured. Thanks again.
