Heart Zones not tracking in exercise

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

This has been an ongoing issue for almost a year. I use track my exercise with the Fitbit app. I used to be able to see a chart with my heart rate during my exercise. It is no longer there. I now see an option to see the heart rate on the map but it says not enough heart rate data. My Fitbit tracks my heart rate with no issue. The app apparently cannot read it and use the data. This needs to be fixed. This is why we buy the HR Fitbits, to track our heart rates. It was there and it was taken away. Fitbit, after one year surely you can come up with a fix for this.

I have the same issue. I take a walk with my dog and expect to be able to see what my heart rate was at different parts of the walk and there is no data in my exercise log. I looked back at many previous entries and they all say the same thing. “Not enough heart rate data.” If I go into the actual heart rate tile it shows there on the timeline but it doesn’t transfer into my workout map where I would actually like to see it. I know it’s picking it up during the workout because I check it on my wrist occasionally to see how I’m doing. I have had issues before when starting the walk through my Fitbit where it shows no GPS data when it’s over, so I start it through my phone app now. I’m using iOS and a charge 2. I have been looking at the charge 4’s but it seems things are going downhill lately with the way they take care of their customers here at Fitbit so I may look elsewhere.

Since google bought Fitbit I figured I'd check to see what I could do to link the Fitbit information to Google fit. If you have a Android phone. There is an app called FitToFit. This will link your Fitbit account to your Google account. Open this app after installing and import the data. Then open google fit on your phone. Your data from Fitbit will be there. Doesn't look like it imports the legacy map information. I am going to try out tracking this tomorrow morning using the Google fit app while wearing the Fitbit. I turned on autosync so hopefully this will work. I'll update tomorrow

This morning I tracked my exercise with the Google fit app instead of Fitbit app. I was able to import the heart rate into the Google fit app from Fitbit. So I have everything in Google fit.

Fitbit should fix this in the Fitbit app. You shouldn’t have to download another app. This has been an issue for over a year now and Fitbit will not even address it.

I agree. Since they are not addressing it I wanted to find a way around it.

I am also having this issue. I start my walks/runs on the app using the "Track" feature. Once the workout is finished, all the data (map, pace, distance, zone minutes, etc) is there except for "heart zones" which shows a greyed-out route. When I check the heart rate log separate from the workout, however, the data is there. I don't understand why this hasn't been addressed yet, since there are posts dating back to mid-2019 asking for this to be resolved.

I am using a Charge 4 that was purchased a month ago. Before the Charge 4 I was using a Charge 2 HR which had the same issue. Any response FitBit?
